Zenzola Group is passionate about
finding qualified candidates for clients. We utilize
a discreet recruitment approach, which is built upon our
years of experience sourcing out candidates that aren’t
actively looking for a new career.
Here are five ways to make finding qualified candidates
easier for you:
| 1) |
Use your own employees. While
it’s a bit more challenging for executive positions,
your current executive staff (and potentially other
employees, also) network and may know of other executive-level
candidates that could be interested in your position. When
appropriate, make sure your current employees are
aware of open positions. |
| 2) |
Use alumni. Utilize
alumni organizations to network at events or advertise
positions in alumni newsletters. |
| 3) |
Keep track of old candidates. For
those candidates that were highly qualified, but
just didn’t work out for other positions, make
sure to maintain contact with them. Include
them on personal emails about new positions at the
organization, or make a phone call to inquire about
their current career situation. |
| 4) |
Attend executive networking
events. Request that members of your executive
team, the hiring manager or the vice president
of human resources seek out networking events to
assist in your recruitment efforts. Not only
will it benefit their career, but it will help
the organization as a whole recruit and hire high-performance
individuals. |
| 5) |
Utilize outside assistance. It
might be appropriate, especially for hard-to-fill
executive positions, to seek outside assistance from
an executive search firm. Not only will you
likely find a better candidate than you could otherwise
find on your own, but the outside assistance will
let you concentrate on other business tasks that
require your attention. |
